During my recent getaway to Berlin, I had the pleasure of staying at the Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz, and what a delight it was! Nestled conveniently close to key attractions, we loved the serene location on a quiet street - yet, a quick hop to the metro was just around the corner. The breakfast was truly an indulgence, featuring a delightful array of options, including gluten-free delights that made my vegetarian friend very happy. Our rooms, adorned with warm earthy themes, were comfy and well-equipped, with everything from wooden floors to stylish bathrooms; I even had a charming little spot to relax with a cup of tea, reminiscing about my own tea estate back in Galle. The lively atmosphere during our stay, likely due to a conference, added to the vibrancy of the experience. In short, the Scandic offered a perfect blend of relaxation and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for anyone craving both comfort and culture in Berlin. Definitely a place my friends and I would love to revisit!
